Relaxed

Since for the past 4 weekends, we did not get an oppurtunity to stay at home and relax, I was in desperate need to stay at home and do nothing (expect probably study for my impending GMAT exam). This weekend ,we did just that, from afternoon siesta to tennis, from rajma to breakfast in bed

It started with a little cleaning expedition on Friday since we were expecting company for the weekend ( which eventually got canceled due to the weather). Saturday was lazy wherein we did not do anything in particular except a little shopping and lots of doses of idiot box.

Sunday was even better. It started with fruit, ice cream, lassi for breakfast, then a game of tennis ( in which I sucked big time), then the usual weekend grocery and idli lunch at JQ SQ. This followed a nice afternoon slumber for 4 hrs and here I am writing the post - utterly relaxed and with a nice warm cup of tea.

Monday,here I come!

Mumbai Indians to Aami Mumbaikars

A passing thought, what fun would it be if Raj Thackeray suddenly raises his head and declares that only "Mumbaikars" can play in the IPL Team, Mumbai Indians. The selection criteria would be any one who has forefathers staying in Mumbai for 100 years are only eligible and at point of time would not have left the soil of Mumbai. The justification would be the countless cricket hopefuls of Mumbai who would never otherwise get a chance at playing since players from "outside" mumbai are clogging the team.

As I laugh out my thought aloud, my marathi husband simply smirks
